The FrSky receiver has 16 channels (8 normal PWM outputs and 8 output channels via the SBus). He also has the new Smart Port.
To the smart port the new digital sensors can be connected directly. A sensor hub is no longer necessary.
- With the FrSky Sbus decoder Sbus signals can be converted to normal PWM signals, so that the SBus connector can connect normal servos.
- On the SBus output Sbus servos can be connected directly.
- Two X8R Receiver can be bonded together, so that the receiver 1 output channels 1-8 and the Receiver 2 output channels 9-16.
With the PCB antennas, the receiver has about 20% more reach than the x8r receiver with the normal antenna.
This product conforms to the current radio standard ETSI EN 300.328.V1.81. Thus, compatibility is not the case with older FrSky RF modules and older Taranis Transmitter! Please perform when required by an update of the RF module or Taranis to the latest firmware.
